The prestigious gallery House of Fine Art (HOFA) will host an exclusive AI NFT art exhibition of digital artworks from May 5. The event will showcase works from top AI and NFT artists including XCOPY, OSF, Ivona Tau and Orkhan. Besides its impressive works of art, this exhibition represents collectors’ growing interest in digital art and AI-generated content.
London-based gallery HOFA partnered with Solana-based NFT platform Kreation for one of the year’s most valuable AI and NFT exhibitions: “Beyond the Screen.”
The event allows attendees to view nine 1:1 AI artworks from the best digital artists. Each piece uniquely highlights the power of AI for the artists’ creative journey.
Nevertheless, collectors are enthusiastic about the featured artists. Orkhan, Cath Simard, Ivona Tau, Ovie Faruq (OSF) and XCOPY created pieces bearing their NFT signature art styles which were all exhibited during the show. Given these artists’ popularity and value in the NFT world, the HOFA exhibit is valued at 2,500 ETH (or around $5 million).
“I believe the fusion of human creativity with cutting-edge technology is revolutionizing the art world. This exhibition serves as a platform to showcase the limitless potential of AI and digital art and how they are shaping the future of contemporary art.” said OSF.
In fact, it’s no wonder that the HOFA is a crucial supporter of AI art progress. This was the first physical art gallery to accept crypto payments way back in 2018. By 2022, the group had already launched its own token, wallet and rewards app system and other NFT innovations.
Recently, both HOFA and Kreation reported a 200% increase in digital art and AI collectors since the NFT boom of 2021. Furthermore, data from Nasdaq suggests that 56% of such collectors believe digital art is as valuable as physical art.
Of course, a quick look at the careers of famous artists backs up these numbers. For example, Orkhan is an AI artist whose work sold for over $80,000 at events such as Art Dubai. Meanwhile, OSF’s piece ‘Carnaby Street’ was auctioned off for a record $76,500 at Sotheby’s.
“The global digital art market is expected to reach $8.5 billion this year, and the AI art market is expected to grow to $1.8 billion by 2026, providing significant opportunities for artists, collectors and everyone involved in the digital art ecosystem,” said HOFA co-founder Elio D’Anna.
The HOFA experience takes place between 5 and 26 May. Can’t make it to London? You can also enjoy the HOFA ‘Beyond the Screen’ exhibition via the HOFAVERSE platform which is open 24/7.
