Warner Bros. rolling out Superman NFT movie packs
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced its next foray into the non-fungible tokens (NFT) market with its latest product – the Superman Web3 Movie Experience. Warner Bros. will sell NFT film bundles of the iconic 1978 ‘Superman: The Movie’, starring Christopher Reeve and directed by Richard Donner.
Powered by Eluvio’s content blockchain technology, these NFTs offer secure ownership verification and can be bought, sold and traded on Warner Bros. its online marketplace.
With added bonuses such as exclusive artist renderings by renowned DC artists and captivating photo galleries, Warner Bros. aiming to rekindle excitement among NFT enthusiasts and DC fans, fostering a passionate community.
Mark your calendars for June 9th as the Superman Web3 Movie Experience will be available for a limited time. Early access will be given to loyal Warner Bros. NFT buyers. Choose from two editions: $30 Standard Edition, with an interactive navigation menu, the theatrical version of “Superman: The Movie”, special features and captivating photo galleries; or the $100 Premium Edition, which includes three unique illustrations of Christopher Reeve’s Superman by different DC artists, multiple film versions, additional special features and behind-the-scenes content.
To join this ground-breaking venture, fans can create an Eluvio NFT media wallet, which acts as a secure “digital vault” for streaming and enjoying the content. Purchase options include credit card transactions or cryptocurrency payments, catering to different preferences.
This release follows the success of the “WB Movieverse” series, starting with last year’s NFT movie pack of “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” (Extended edition). Warner Bros. strives to deliver an even more immersive and interactive experience for fans, building on this momentum.
Purchasers of the Superman Web3 Movie Experience will also receive a free coupon code for a DC3 Super Power Pack from the DC NFT Marketplace. Each pack contains three randomly selected Superman comics of varying rarities. Warner Bros. plans to release new themed packs regularly, keeping collectors and fans eagerly awaiting more surprises.
Warner Bros.’ venture into NFTs pushes the boundaries of digital entertainment, exploring the enormous potential of this new technology. It delivers an interactive and collectible experience that Superman enthusiasts have longed for, showcasing the studio’s dedication to innovation and fan engagement.
