The Lord of the Rings NFT collection launches as Movie Studios Web3 Push

Warner Bros studios announced that they are launching an NFT collection for Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

The officially The Warner Bros NFT Collection Twitter account announced today that they are introducing a Web3 movie experience which has never been seen before. Warner Bros is partnering with Eluv.Io, the content-based blockchain for Web3.

The Lord of the Rings NFT collection: What does it offer?

The collection that goes live tomorrow on WB movieverse has two different types of Edition.

The Premiere Mystery Edition will feature an extended edition of the full-length feature film in 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD). The collection is priced at $30 and includes over eight hours of special features plus commentary. Additionally, it will have location-specific photo galleries and location-specific AR collectibles. The release will have 10,000 NFTs.

The Premiere Epic Edition is an ultra-rare collection of 999 NFTs. The price of this edition will be $100. It will include all the benefits of the Premier Mystery Edition, plus it will have image galleries included in all three locations plus bonus galleries. It will also feature AR collectibles at all three locations.

Society has given a mixed reaction to the NFT fall. A segment of fans believe that Warner Bros. studio is focusing on harebrained schemes instead of innovation and imagination.
