LONDON, UK, July 4, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ – The British fintech company ImageNPay has announced that the digital wallet is now available on Google Pay, giving consumers the ability to customize a digital prepaid Mastercard with images and dynamic content.
ImageNPay says it is harnessing the power of smartphones by changing the way consumers connect, register and use digital payments, while eliminating environmentally toxic plastic cards.
Consumers can choose from a variety of eye-catching images for their virtual Mastercard, which can then be used to purchase goods and services online or in stores via contactless payment on a smartphone.
ImageNPay CEO Michael Donald said: “The ImageNPay app enables payments with custom images, sounds and video to make purchases quickly, conveniently and securely. You can choose to pay with images that reflect who you are and the things you love. The platform ours will also enable brands, celebrities, sports teams and charities to create new and exciting opportunities in the payment ecosystem. “
Among the eye-catching Mastercard designs are images that promote sustainability and diversity, as well as images related to brands, gaming platforms and movies (including a design with Yoda from Star Wars). The integration with Google Pay follows ImageNPay’s successful launch of Apple Pay.
“ImageNPay offers a safer and more secure way to pay that helps consumers avoid physically giving the debit card to anyone else. With ImageNPay, the card is completely digital as we never issue environmentally harmful plastic,” said Donald, a former commercial director (Europe) at Bank of America.
Every Google Pay purchase is authenticated with Face ID, Touch ID or a device code, as well as a unique dynamic security code. The app also shows on Google Maps where users have made purchases – and helps them remember favorite stores.
The ImageNPay platform was developed in collaboration with the global payment solution provider EPAM to improve consumers’ mobile payment experience, while actively reducing their carbon footprint. The platform was recently presented by the British Embassy in Ecuador as an example of how the UK is developing in green financial initiatives.
