WASHINGTON DC, USA, 28 February 2022, /African Media Agency/ – On 12 April 2023Regulators, policy makers, finance and technology industry leaders, Fintech founders, leading innovators, investors and government representatives from around the world will gather in Washington DC, USA, for the ninth edition of the Africa Fintech Summit (AFTS). The summit will take place at 12 April 2023 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, the venue that hosted the December 2022 US-Africa Leaders Summit.
With attendees representing over $4.5 billion in private equity and venture capital funding, the Africa Fintech Summit is the premier global initiative dedicated to financial technology growth in Africa, providing the best opportunities for key stakeholders to share knowledge, zoom in on trends, and opportunities that shape perspectives, and the future of fintech in Africa. The biannual summit is held every April in Washington, DC, on the sidelines of the World Bank/IMF spring meetings, and every November in another African city (most recently Cape Town (2022), Cairo (2021), Virtual (2020) ), Addis (2019) and Lagos (2018).
