Spielworks ‘Wombat Dungeon Master’ dominates eighth season with massive growth and NFT Minting – CryptoMode
Spielworks, a well-known blockchain startup specializing in gaming and decentralized finance (DeFi) solutions, recently concluded its highly successful eighth season of “Dungeon Master.”
With over 37,000 new players joining the community and over 200,000 NFTs made, the season ended on a high just before the beta launch of the massive game expansion called “Dungeon Worlds” scheduled for release in Q3 2023.
The success of “Wombat Dungeon Master” illustrates the power of engaging creators and brands using NFTs. The eighth season witnessed the minting of over 2,000 NFTs and welcomed 37,000 new users, who also received additional rewards in the Spielworks $WOMBAT token.
When “Dungeon Worlds” launches, Spielworks is set to expand the Wombat ecosystem by introducing user-owned NFT gaming experiences.
In “Dungeon Worlds”, community-run dungeons are organized into seasons, each starting and ending in all dungeons. To prepare for the beta launch, Spielworks recently held land and Wombat character drops on the WAX and Polygon blockchains as NFTs.
Additional networks such as EOS and BNB Chain will be added at a later date.
The “Dungeon Worlds” map includes 10,000 country tiles on each blockchain, with unique geographic features and materials for Wombat characters to discover. Players can utilize equipment in the form of NFTs to improve their dungeons and characters, and enjoy interoperability across all dungeons, regardless of the chain they belong to.
Spielworks has built one of the fastest growing blockchain gaming ecosystems on the market, with over 3 million registrations and 65,000 daily users.
The ecosystem includes its multi-chain non-custodial Wombat Wallet, crypto rewards platform Womplay with 40 AA and AAA backed titles, and Top 15 NFT game Wombat Dungeon Master, which has over 1.5 million staked NFTs.
“We’re thrilled with the feedback we’ve received from our dedicated community members following our recent land and character drops as we approach the beta launch of ‘Dungeon Worlds,'” said Adrian Krion, Spielworks CEO and co-founder.
“We’re empowering our players and creators to provide them with a platform to generate utility with an exciting gaming experience and user-owned NFT effort. Post-launch, we’re already working on several exciting game modes and features, including cross-chain dungeon interoperability, a battle mode, clan wars and more.”
Spielworks has continued to demonstrate its excellence in providing the blockchain gaming community with exciting experiences.
With the successful conclusion of the eighth season of “Wombat Dungeon Master” and the upcoming launch of “Dungeon Worlds”, Spielworks has a bright future ahead of it.
