Solvo launches a crypto app for EU and UK users
Cryptocurrency startup Solvo has launched a new crypto app in an effort to make digital assets more accessible and attractive to new users.
Available for download on the App Store for EU and UK users at the time of writing, the Solvo app was designed to offer a simple, transparent and user-friendly entry for users curious about crypto. but has not yet committed. Essentially, the app can help users buy easy-to-understand financial products while deepening their understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies.
451 Research conducted a survey in 2022, which revealed that 32% of non-crypto users had not participated in cryptocurrency trading due to a lack of understanding of blockchain. Also, 26% of users said that crypto is too complicated to buy, which is why they have refrained from trading.
Solvo representatives expressed in the company’s press release that current product and service offerings used to invest in cryptoassets are too complex, meaning they can be intimidating to new users. The app was designed to minimize clutter and provide three clear and focused products, namely bundles, vaults and NFTs.
More details about the app’s core products
With bundles, users can access pre-selected sector-specific tokens without having to research and choose from thousands of projects and tokens before investing. Users can choose which category they want to invest in, such as blue-chip crypto projects, DeFi or Metaverse & Gaming.
The vault system allows users to earn a return depending on how much they are willing to risk. Users only need to deposit fiat and choose which token they want to earn in. Solvo then looks for the best protocols and investment opportunities and connects them for the user. Available options include ADA, NEAR and MATIC.
App customers can also leverage an AI system to generate their own NFTs. AI requires a written message describing the desired image, or it can create personalized NFTs based on user-uploaded images. These NFTs can also be stamped on the chain for free at Optimism.
When it comes to buying, selling and holding crypto, the Solvo app creates a curated list of the top 10 tokens. Customers can also take advantage of open bank and wire transfers to transfer money anywhere in the world, deposit and withdraw BTC and ETH, and deposit GBP and EUR.
In January 2023, Solvo partnered with Fireblocks to improve the security of this crypto app. Fireblocks officials praised Solvo’s efforts to improve the accessibility of crypto and decentralized finance and emphasized how the institutional technology developed by Fireblocks can reassure clients about the security of their assets.
