Soccer League LaLiga and Dapper Labs unveil date for new NFT platform
Dapper Labs and Spanish soccer league LaLiga have announced that their new NFT platform will launch on October 27, 2022.

According to a press release, LaLiga and Dapper Labs have now revealed the name of their upcoming digital collector platform, “LaLiga Golazos.”
LaLiga is the top football division in Spain and hosts legendary teams such as Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. The league is currently ranked number 2 in Europe according to the UEFA rankings.
LaLiga Golazo’s NFTs will include video collectibles (called “moments”) of the most famous plays from the football clubs that have been part of the league since the 2005-2006 season.
The platform will also have new Moment drops from every matchday in the current 2022-23 season. Fans will be able to experience all of these collectibles in both English and Spanish, according to the announcement.
“LaLiga Golazos allows fans to own and collect LaLiga plays and moments from 2005-present,” commented Óscar Mayo, CEO of LaLiga.
“We are constantly innovating new ways to bring LaLiga, the clubs and the players closer to our fans, and with our partner, industry leader Dapper Labs, we can give them the opportunity to truly be part of this fanatical experience.”
Dapper Labs, the company behind other well-known sports collectibles such as NBA Top Shot, handles the development side of the LaLiga Golazos platform.
A closed beta version of the NFT platform is set to go live on the 27th of this month, and the first collection will also be released on the same day.
Games from the most iconic rivalries in football history, such as El Clásico and the Madrid Derby, will be featured in the first NFTs.
