Saleforce services shall include NFT integration
Leading platform for customer relationship management (CRM), Salesforce, has launched a suite of Web3 products aimed at helping brands build trusted, sustainable digital communities. These products will specifically help businesses integrate NFTs, allowing them to connect with their customers in a whole new way.
With the Internet rapidly evolving, Salesforce recognizes the need to help Web2 brands leverage Web3. Therefore, their Web3 package will help these brands “create, manage and distribute NFTs in a reliable, scalable and sustainable way” manner.
All of this will happen on a unified interface, therefore offering these brands a holistic view of how their customers interact with them, whether on traditional or new digital channels. Hopefully this will help these companies engage with new target groups, deepen contact with customers and drive loyalty.
The Salesforce Web3 pivot appears to be the result of a recent survey by the company, in which they found that approximately 45% of consumers are open to purchasing an NFT from their favorite brand. In addition, three out of four people who have purchased an NFT in the past believe that purchasing an NFT reinforces their loyalty to the brand.
Meanwhile, an additional partnership with Polygon Network will also see the Salesforce team further strengthen its Web3 credentials by helping its customers launch NFT-powered loyalty schemes.
What components make up Salesforce Web3?
The suite of products includes Web3 Connect, which is an API integration that will offer a holistic view of how customers interact with a brand’s NFT collections. There is also NFT Management component, whose main purpose is to manage NFT collections.
To bring its Web3 suite to life, Salesforce had to engage its Web3 Advisory Board, which advocates for the ethical and humane use of technology. In this way, they were able to come up with a responsible product driven by values.
The product has been met with enthusiasm from Salesforce customers. Sven Gerjets, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Mattel notes, “Salesforce Web3 enhances our NFT collections to help us connect with customers and bring our Web2 and Web3 systems together. Web3 Connect provides invaluable insights into our audience and seamlessly bridges Web3 channels with the rest of our customer experience . We know we have a trusted partner with Salesforce and are now able to provide an exciting user experience and gateway to Mattel’s iconic IP in a new way.”
Mattel was able to launch its Hot Wheels NFT Garage line by leveraging Salesforce Web3. So far, the company claims to have supported over 275,000 NFT transactions from corporate clients, such as Scotch & Soda, Mattel and Crown Royal.
