In 2020, the TECNIO Center EASY research group at the University of Girona collaborated with Aumenta Solutions in an INNOTEC project, with the aim of creating a blockchain-based real-time maintenance system for various industries.
This ambitious project merged blockchain certification with augmented reality to improve efficiency and traceability in industrial maintenance.
Fast forward to 2023, Aumenta Solutions and MSI have shifted their focus to a crucial real-world sector: the global port infrastructure market. This market, valued at USD 148.1 billion in 2020, is expected to increase to USD 243.1 billion by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 4.9% from 2021 to 2030.
Port infrastructure is the backbone for ships, cargo and passengers passing through ports. However, expanding and maintaining port infrastructure requires significant capital investment, long lead times and extensive long-term planning.
Ardor Blockchain and AR powered platform
The innovative port infrastructure maintenance project, developed by Aumenta Solutions and MSI, utilizes Ardor blockchain and AR technology.
