Reddit collectible avatars near 10 million user milestone in 1 year
Reddit Collectible Avatars NFTs reached nearly 10 million NFT holders, another major milestone for the collection. The milestone is a culmination of steadily increasing usage since the launch in July 2022.

Reddit collectible avatars are skyrocketing
Collectible Avatars have a total market value of $38.4 million, with 13.7 million avatars. The number of total holders is 9.9 million, which is the highest it has ever been.
The collection is not quite at its peak, with most mints in December 2022 and January 2023, but the fact remains that the collection shows a good deal of popularity in the market. The total sales volume for the collection is $32.68 million, with a cumulative sales volume of 303,000.
Reddit Collectible Avatars seem to be proof that a collection on a major social media platform can have long-lasting and impactful impressions. As can be seen from the figures above, the collection has seen significant growth since its launch in July 2022.
Ubisoft Rabbids NFTs launch on Reddit
Reddit’s Collectible Avatars, despite their popularity, are aided by an NFT collection released on the platform: Ubisoft Rabbit NFTs. The latter, which contains NFTs tied to an IP from game developer and publisher Ubisoft, is available as Polygon NFTs on Reddit.
Rabbids are characters from one of Ubisoft’s franchises. NFTs from this collection were available as a free coin, which probably greatly contributed to the collection’s popularity.
Sandeep Nailwal says Reddit ‘cracked the code’ for NFTs
Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal is a well-known figure in the crypto community and was recently in the spotlight after he hosted an AMA session on Reddit. In that AMA, the co-founder said that Reddit was the only platform that “cracked the code” for NFT adoption, referring to Reddit’s Collectible Avatars.
The almost 10 million users who use the avatars have also led to the NFTs being traded well on the secondary markets. The NFTs run on the Polygon network.
