QNT close to 2-month high despite recent declines, NEAR moves towards 1-year lowest level – market updates Bitcoin news
QNT traded near the last peaks on Wednesday, when prices struggled through a turbulent session. The token was mainly in the green on the hump day, and fell by as much as 7% on the day. NEAR also fell, with prices heading for a year’s lowest level.
Quant (QNT)
QNT remained close to a two-month high on Wednesday, despite falling prices as much as 7% earlier in today’s session.
The token fell to a low during the day of $ 78.46 during Wednesday’s action, as prices moved towards support of $ 75.
Since this fall, prices have risen somewhat, with the token now trading at $ 80.20, which is around $ 10 away from last week’s high.
This peak of $ 90.35 was the highest price QNT / USD has traded at since June 9, but after this high, bearish sentiment returned when traders probably liquidated their previous positions.
Recent gains in QNT have come as the 10-day moving average continued to climb towards the 25-day MA, but this momentum was stopped by the recent $ 90.35 price cap.
Although bears have contributed to a volatile week of trading, the momentum is still somewhat bullish, which may intensify in future sessions.
Near Protocol (NEAR)
NEAR remained close to a year’s lowest on Wednesday, when prices fell for a fourth session in a row.
After a peak of $ 3.33 on Tuesday, NEAR / USD fell to a lower low of $ 3.07 on the hump day, which is the lowest level in two weeks.
This bottom is marginally above the bottom on June 20, when prices fell to $ 2.65, which was the lowest point for NEAR since August 2021.
At the time of writing, token prices continue to trade close to $ 3 support, which could be an ideal rebound for bulls.
Recent history shows that bulls have usually bought near the support point, and this can be repeated if the 14-day RSI remains above its own floor.
This is 37.9 points, which has stuck for the last three weeks, and should this extend to a fourth, NEAR can move closer to $ 4.
