Professional Bull Riders (PBR) has partnered with SmartMedia Technologies (SMT) to introduce digital collectible cards. These will be for riders in the individual competition titled ‘Unleash the Beast’ for the 2022 season. It was finished a few months ago in May. To clarify, the PBR is an international professional bull riding organization, with events televised on CBS and CBS Sports.
Professional Bull Riders have announced their new digital cards as collectable NFTs representing riders in their individual category. The NFTs will be offered to fans along with a fantasy leaderboard.
The PBR Team NFT Card Collection allows fans to select seven riders to create a personal fantasy team that will award them points based on the performance of riders throughout the PBR Team Series season, which began July 25 in Cheyenne, Wyoming and will finish with a championship in Las Vegas November 4-6.
This fantasy concept is somewhat similar to Sorare, where association football fans can compete with their players, who they have as NFTs, to earn points based on real-life stats and performances.
In the 8 Second Drop challenges that started on August 8fans can collect trading cards, which include exclusive stills and 3D animations, for each team.

The Professional Bull Riders is an international professional bull riding organization based in Colorado, USA. There are over 500 riders, with 35 on the highest rated ride. Daylon Swearingen reclaimed the world number 1 spot in the PBR finals in May. Founded in 1992, the company has been broadcast on CBS Sports since 2012.
They operate in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Australia, with the main focus on the USA. Especially the Premier Series in the USA is where the best riders compete. In addition, there are a few more in the country as well.
To clarify, two-time world champion JB Mauney has earned the most money of any rider at over $7.4 million. He is also followed by three-time world champion Silvano Alves at over $6.1 million, and in third place is world champion Guilherme Marchi with over $5.3 million.
