Prince of Serbia shared his views on Bitcoin adoption –

  • Bitcoin adoption by country is an inevitable phenomenon.
  • One day it will happen and everyone will adopt it – Prince of Serbia.

Philip Karageorgevitch, the Prince of Serbia, has shared his views on Bitcoin Adoption and put the brakes on rumors that the country will soon adopt Bitcoin as legal tender.

The prince gave an interview to a Bitcoin Reserves Podcast where he commented that adopting bitcoin is inevitable for all countries.

Considering this statement, many news outlets made headlines that the country is ready to accept Bitcoin as its legal tender. Nevertheless, the prince presented his views that adopting bitcoin is inevitable for all countries and not only Arab countries:

“It is an inevitable phenomenon and it will happen. I am not sure which country from which place will adopt it but gradually every country will adopt Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is perfect for Islamic countries

The prince also explained that Bitcoin is perfect for Islamic countries because it fits perfectly with Sharia money.

Sharia is an Islamic law that follows the teachings of the Koran and distinguishes between legal and illegal. And the money in the form of Bitcoin is completely halal and excellent for the Islamic economy, Prince said.

“It is likely that a Muslim country that follows Sharia law will adopt Bitcoin and some people will buy it and make it a commodity; if a prince knows that any Arab or Islamic country will accept Bitcoin, then it will happen.”

Prince Philip is basically a prince of both Serbia and Yugoslavia. Serbia was not invented as a country when the monarchy system ended. But in today’s scenario, Yugoslavia does not exist and Serbia is a parliamentary republic although a group of the country demands the establishment of a parliamentary monarchy, the same as in Great Britain.

In March 2022, Philip participated in a chat show where he clarified the difference between Bitcoin and crypto. He added, “Bitcoin is a kind of freedom that I want for everyone.”

The prince also counted the benefits of adopting Bitcoin in Serbia, saying: “Many Serbs live all over the world. In my view, the biggest emigration is in Canada, after that Chicago.”

There are almost 5 million Serbs living outside the country, and they send money to the country regularly. All these 5 million people will benefit from the feature of Bitcoin, which offers instant money transfer without third party involvement.
