Porsche 911 – the centerpiece of 7,500 NFTs
For this NFT collection, German car manufacturer Porsche teamed up with digital 3D artist Patrick Vogel, who is also the founder of audiovisual studio ALT/SHIFT. The Porsche NFT collection will contain 7,500 NFTs in total. All of the NFTs are designed by Hamburg-based 3D artist Vogel, but NFT enthusiasts can customize their purchases by choosing from over 150,000 design combinations.
This includes traits from categories such as lifestyle, heritage and performance. Furthermore, NFT fanatics will be able to craft three NFTs each and can check out their brand new digital Porsche in the metaverse, powered by Unreal Engine 5.
In addition, this year’s edition of Art Basel in Miami Beach will also see the larger than life sculpture called “Dream BIG” from the series “The Art Of Dreams”. Built by architect Chris Labrooy, the installation is a monument to childhood dreams and features an enlarged “inner child” playing with the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S as if it were a toy.
Ultimately, the thought-provoking sculpture raises the question of how important it is to follow your dreams and keep up with your inner child. As described by Robert Ader, Chief Marketing Officer of the company, “Porsche embodies the fulfillment of dreams. With our initiative ‘The Art of Dreams’ we want to inspire people to do just that – to dream.”
Our journey begins with a timeless icon – the Porsche 911. The destination? You decide. There are over 150,000 design combinations you can unlock when crafting your 911 NFT. Join an exclusive community of pioneers and co-create the future of Porsche in Web3. → pic.twitter.com/xB8upGycpC
