Illuvium, a revolutionary new game that boasts the world’s first interoperable blockchain technology, announced Illuvium Beta. This exciting new game includes three unique experiences: Illuvium Overworld, Arena and Zero. In Illuvium, players can play and own assets across multiple games, giving them more freedom over their gaming experience.
What is Illuvium?
Illuvium Overworld is a free-to-play, open-world collectible game available on both PC and Mac. Players can explore a broken world and collect resources while capturing Illuvials to become the most dominant Ranger. So there’s a lot to expect from the Illuvium beta.
To capture Illuvials, players must avoid deadly dangers and search for valuable resources that their drones collect, including shards, gems, and consumables. These resources allow players to craft and upgrade equipment, such as helmets, jetpacks, boots, and weapons. Players with better enhancements navigate the world and overcome more challenging battles.
Winning matches against opposing teams allows players to capture Illuvials. These Illuvials can then be fought in the arena or sold on the Illuvidex market exchange. Players must improve their suit, weapon, drone and Illuvials to improve their chances of victory in the arena and climb the leaderboard. The Illuvium beta consists of exploring and playing this part of the game.
In addition to Illuvium Overworld, players can also access Illuvium Zero, a unique game that allows players to develop their own NFT land and obtain fuel, necessary to enter higher stages in Illuvium Overworld. Players can also buy fuel on the Illuvidex market exchange.
Illuvium Game NFTs
Illuvium NFTs come in two main types: Land NFTs and Collectible NFTs. Land NFTs represent virtual plots of land in the virtual world of Illuvium Land. Land NFTs provide in-game fuel, used to explore multiple areas of the Illuvium Overworld. Collecting NFTs includes Illuvials that fight by your side. Other types of NFTs will be added as they are announced later in the game’s development. Illuvium beta has no announced interaction with previously held NFTs.
What will the Illuvium Beta look like?
Explore the many areas of the Crimson Waste as you harvest plants, mine deposits and capture Illuvials. Climb to the top of the leaderboard and improve your Rangers gear, and upgrade M0z4rt to make the most of your daily fuel allocation.
Test your deck in higher stage zones (S0, S1, S2, S3) to capture higher level Illuvials. All players with access to Arena: Private Beta 2 automatically gain access to Overworld Private Beta.
