The D:CC PFP series will see cats take their rightful place at the center of the Nine Chronicles universe, while providing their owners with exclusive in-game perks and tools

The public program officially launches to the NFT community on August 24, 2202.
The world of Nine Chronicles takes inspiration from Norse mythology to populate the universe, where players can immerse themselves in play, crafting and gaining experience. However, the arrival of D:CC NFTs will give the game’s mighty warriors the chance to inhabit a whole new set of Fur Zones, complete with cat ears and tails, and imbued with the wisdom and guidance of The Cosmic Cat God The Grrreat .
Following in the footsteps of secret societies such as the Knights Catplar and Illumi-nyan-ti, D:CC keeps its many secrets shrouded in mystery, sharing them only with members of their inner circle. To be accepted into the fold, users can apply for a coveted spot on two planned “Pionyan programs” (pioneer + nyan). The first program has opened up 999 advance slots to existing Nine Chronicles players, while the second program will open wide to the public on August 24. Those deemed worthy will be added to a guaranteed “Permission List”, with all participants who make the cut given equal coin authority for a single PFP from the collection. The minting date must be announced.
PFP NFTs are a type of non-fungible token collection designed to be used as online avatars or social media profile pictures (think: Bored Ape Yacht Club). But the new “D:CC” NFT series Nine Chronicles has unveiled is much more than a simple profile picture. Each PFP is an invitation to players’ alternate identities within the expansive Nine Chronicles universe, with ownership also granting each holder a number of benefits, such as exclusive rewards, costumes and in-game items, and additional currencies only available to NFT holders. Members will also have a vote in future collaborations.
Sangmi Seon (Caesty), Art Director for Nine Chronicles, who has honed his craft as lead Art Direction and Design at top game companies such as NEXON and Capcom, brings to life his dynamic yet delicate aesthetic with his signature expressive lines and lush colors. “Reflecting the detail and care that we put into every aspect of Nine Chronicles, I wanted the NFT collection to reflect that vibrant and dynamic world. Each PFP is unique and beautiful,” said Seon.
