Philippine Blockchain Week: Web3 Thought Leaders Gather in Manila

Metaverse and NFTs have been hot topics in the US since the start of 2021. I was curious to see what the rest of the world thought of these burgeoning industries. That’s when I stumbled upon Philippine Blockchain Week and here’s what I found out.

Here in the US, every major news channel or media company has covered some form of coverage in the past year with big brands and celebrities. Brands are quickly adopting NFTs for marketing and brand loyalty purposes, as are creators, such as the producers of a recent independent film.
