People awarded best Fintech in Uzbekistan by Visa

Humans has received an award for its active implementation of banking products in Uzbekistan. The company surpassed all its competitors in terms of the speed at which it issued Visa cards and the volume of transactions with them. Visa previously already had recognized People who are card issuing managers in the region.

Every year, the international company presents awards to banks and fintech organizations that issue bank cards together with Visa. When selecting the winner in this category, Visa took into account the speed with which the bank cards are issued and the volume of transactions made with them in the region. According to the 2022 results, Humans has become a leader in this field in Uzbekistan. Human’s VISA cards give citizens of Uzbekistan access to offline and online products anywhere in the world, and they also increase the volume of online payments made in the region.

According to data from Visa, the volume of electronic payments made in Uzbekistan is growing steadily. In the fourth quarter of 2021 alone, they increased by a third. Human’s VISA card first began to be issued in August 2020 in collaboration with Ravnaq-bank. Customers had access to both the virtual version and the card in physical form. The virtual card can be obtained automatically in the Humans app when you connect a Humans SIM card. Customers can order a plastic card for free on the website and have it delivered to their home, or they can get one at a retail outlet – Humans has already opened more than 1,100 service points in Uzbekistan. Humans VISA card is accepted both in Uzbekistan and abroad.

The payment system previously gave Humans the award for outstanding growth in issuance, according to the results of 2021. However, in 2022, Humans surpassed all other banks and fintech companies in Uzbekistan according to the speed with which Visa cards are issued and the volume of transactions carried out with them.
