This week, OneLand brings Metaverse Market Analysis statistics for May 15-21, 2023.

OneLand 7-day data shows stable market capitalization of the 10 listed metaverse projects, up 0.22% to 776,406 ETH (or $1.401 billion, +0.54%).

Landscapes for several projects – notably Decentraland (-6.1%), but also Worldwide Webb, Voxels, BYOPills, Treeverse and Arcade – appear to be in a downward trend since the beginning of April. But The Sandbox LAND’s market cap increased this week, up 5.2% on the back of a pair of 50 ETH+ sales, and is closest to Decentraland’s market cap since its July-Aug flip.

Metaverse tokens were back in positive territory this week, with both $SAND (+2.0%) and $MANA (+4.35%) enjoying their first 7-day gains in over a month.

Some attribute the buzz surrounding the impending release of Apple’s mixed-reality headset to the cause (see Market news, below). That may actually have led to some moves going back to VR metaverse Somnium Space, which had 5 sales this week, impressive when you realize there was only 1 other sale in all of May.

Meanwhile, Otherside claimed its third 100 ETH+ sale in consecutive weeks.
