OKX Exchange enters into an agreement with Man City in the middle of the Crypto Bear Market
It seems that the current turmoil in the crypto market does not affect sports sponsorship. This is revealed from the recent sealed agreement between Manchester City and OKX crypto exchange company.
Manchester City is strongly committed to the current agreement they have just entered into with the digital currency exchange company OKX. The English Premier League champions (EPL), Man City, announced this on Monday. According to the announcement, OKX will now sponsor the football club’s training suit. The sponsorship is intended to run throughout the 2022 – 2023 season.
Given that Man City came out as winners of the latest EPL, the company is still in the belief that this will be a plus for the brand. In addition, the team has just signed a new striker from Norway, Erling Haaland. They think this will create an excellent chance to go through the upcoming league.

Based on the agreement, the women’s and men’s collections of the training equipment will have the OKX logo signed. In addition, current previews of the training shirts already show OKX’s brand name. This will continue until the end of the first half of 2023.
Based on OKX’s statement, Manchester will have four different art jobs created across it. These artworks will contain some QR codes. The crypto exchange platform plans to achieve this by involving the service of Akse P19, one of the renowned street artists. The Global Street Art Agency will support this.
The idea of the QR codes is to create the winning opportunity for OKX Hospitality Box season tickets for Man City fans. The painting will also show pictures of some players such as John Stones, João Cancelo, Haaland and Jack Grealish.
The collaboration between these two parties started about four months ago. At that time, OKX signed up as the football club’s digital currency exchange partner. The crypto exchange company had announced that it would release more banner engagement practices based on the Web3 system in the future.
Other recent crypto offers
Although digital tokens are still plummeting in price, there is also increasing strength in sponsorship agreements between sports and crypto companies.
This is again evident in the recent sponsorship deal between Everton, an EPL team, and Stake, a crypto-gambling company. According to the news, the crypto company has signed up as a sponsor for the team’s uniform.
