NFT ticket market enters into partnership with Elrow Dubai
An NFT marketplace for event tickets has teamed up with a major electronic music brand.
SeatlabNFT says its goal is to help artists build a closer connection with their fans — all while eliminating fraud and reducing the impact of scalping.
The NFT ticketing and experience platform has partnered with Elrow Dubai to become their exclusive VIP ticket supplier. This means that all VIP tickets will be issued as NFTs – with digital collectibles, air-dropped rewards and game-based interactive blockchain installations on site. Elrow is known for events with a carnival and circus theme, where audience interaction and immersion are at the center.
SeatlabNFT told Cointelegraph that Elrow Dubai shares its vision and philosophy – especially when it comes to elevating live events to the next level.
And in a particularly tantalizing development, Elrow Dubai will offer Proof of Attendance NFTs to VIPs via the SeatlabNFT platform. They are a powerful way to commemorate special events, allowing their owners to proudly proclaim “I was there.” It’s also a 21st century reimagining of memories – forever immortalized on the blockchain.
The 8,000-capacity Elrow XXL Festival in Dubai will take place in February 2023 with VIP tickets sold exclusively via SeatlabNFT from 2 November 2022. This is set to be an immersive, NFT-enabled VIP experience never seen before at an event of this scale. Read the full announcement here.
How it all works
After taking the art world by storm, the music industry is poised to become the next destination where non-fungible tokens have a real impact. But of course, all of this must be achieved with mass adoption in mind – ensuring that interacting with this technology is intuitive and easy for everyone, regardless of whether they are familiar with it.
Because of this, SeatlabNFT’s app acts as a hub where tickets are stored. Even better, built-in camera functionality enables festival-goers to interact with exciting on-site elements and unlock exclusive rewards. Crucially, the app handles wallet creation behind the scenes – helping to eliminate some of the complexities associated with Web3, while streamlining the onboarding process.
Commenting on the Elrow Dubai partnership, SeatlabNFT CEO Ryan Kenny said:
“This is a huge moment for us to demonstrate the technology’s ability to not only get tickets to major events using NFTs, but also reward fans with something of real value and enhance their connection with the events they attend.”
Elrow Dubai’s event is set to take place in February 2023 – introducing thousands of fans to NFTs for the very first time.
Make some noise
SeatlabNFT’s dedicated app has now launched on Apple’s App Store and Google Play – meaning it’s available to millions of event-goers worldwide.
Other recent partnerships include a link-up with the Lost Village festival to create a limited edition NFT membership card that gave holders access to an immersive audio-visual festival experience.
The SeatlabNFT team also organized a fresher party tour of seven UK universities – and DJs included Clean Bandit, LF System, R3WIRE and Hardy Caprio.
Looking ahead, SeatlabNFT introduces self-service onboarding and unveils even more headline-grabbing partnerships with world-renowned artists and brands. This will be accompanied by a dedicated marketplace for secondary sales, and a dashboard so event organizers can see all their sales data in one place.
For event organizers intrigued by the benefits that digital collectibles can bring to their events, the arrival of SeatlabNFT will be music to their ears.
