The Swiss NFT and metaverse conference, chaired by Katharina de Vaivre, CEO of EAT (Engadin Art Talks)and Georg Bak, a noble digital art advisor and curator aims to redefine the intricate connections between Web3 and art. Its overall mission is to spotlight cryptoart within the broader realm of digital art history, initiating a deep dialogue about the role and impact of new technologies in the art sphere, while creating new and fertile ground for exploration.

NFT ART DAY ZRH (find more here) serves as a platform to build connections between the traditional art world and the new realm of NFTs. The event places great emphasis on exploring the intersection of art and NFT, delving into the innovative possibilities offered by blockchain technology, examining the evolution of historical digital art, analyzing the performance of the digital art market, and examining various other facets of this intricate ecosystem. Bringing together experts, artists, collectors and enthusiasts, NFT ART DAY ZRH provides a comprehensive exploration of the multi-faceted landscape of crypto art and its surrounding elements.

The second edition of NFT ART DAY ZRH will be held over two days, coinciding with Zurich Art Weekend and before Art Basel. The conference kicks off on Saturday 10 June with a series of educational sessions and workshops designed for professionals and newcomers alike. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the process of minting, buying and selling NFTs.

On Sunday 11 June, the main conference will take place in Kunsthaus Zürich’s newly constructed Chipperfield building. The conference offers a captivating program of lectures and panel discussions that delve into various aspects of the NFT field. Key themes to be explored include the current state of the NFT art market, insights into significant artistic practice, the impact of rapidly advancing technologies in the art world, examination of collecting behavior and artist talks.
