The company that created the successful open-world action series based on Assassin’s Creed is now making another NFT move. It’s the same company that made the game titles Far Cry and Just Dance. Ubisoft has been the most committed major game developer in the Web3 world ever.

Assassin’s Creed Smart Collectibles are tangible collectibles inspired by the well-known historical action series that are NFT access passes produced on the Ethereum scaling platform Polygon by Integral Reality Labs and Ubisoft.

When will NFT be available
Pricing information has not yet been released, but a spokesperson for Integral Reality Labs informed Decrypt that a pre-sale would start today ahead of the official mint on May 16. The license agreement between Decrypt and Integral Reality Labs was confirmed by a Ubisoft spokesperson.
In the past, Integral Reality Labs and Ubisoft have worked together to produce a series of reversible, 3D-printed souvenirs based on the Assassin’s Creed, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six and For Honor video game franchises.

Assassin’s Creed has seen continuous development and expansion since its launch in 2007, to the point where it has not only evolved into Ubisoft’s flagship property, but has also become one of the most successful and well-known video game franchises of all time.
In the fifteen years since its debut, the Assassin’s Creed series has sold more than 200 million copies globally, according to a recent announcement from Ubisoft. Presumably all Assassin’s Creed games, including spin-offs, portable games and everything else, fall under that category.
