The 7th Annual Future Art Awards 3D Group Exhibition is an art-based exploration and interrogation of meta-futures, featuring individual NFTs, NFT collections and non-NFTs in an immersive environment.
LOS ANGELES, 21 April 2023 /PRNewswire/ — MOZAIK Philanthropy’s 2023 Future Art Awards: The Digital Awakening is now open and free to the public, and displays over 70 artworks from interdisciplinary artists across the board the United States. Hundreds of artists submitted work to the 8-week open call that assessed humanity’s relationship with the digital realm, including the impact of Web 3.0. about the human condition, the environment and the latent potential of a democratized, decentralized art world.
MOZAIK Philanthropy has awarded over 400 artists with grants and exhibition exposure through the Future Art Awards.
Twenty-five American artists from all walks of life and creative expressions were selected through a blind review process by an independent jury of artists and art professionals. They will receive the prestigious Future Art Award, including artist honors, which range from $2,500 for individual NFTs and non-NFT artworks, to $5000 prizes for NFT collections. Each featured artist in the group exhibition uses the power of art to imagine what a high-tech, highly connected future might look like that is also deeply human.
As people begin to move away from the physical world towards virtual and augmented realities, the art world is at the center of a global movement where the emergence of a digital blockchain-based future will inevitably have a profound impact on art, culture, politics, activism and economics. Since the launch of the Future Art Awards in 2020, MOSAIC Philanthropy has awarded over 400 artists artist support grants and exposure opportunities for virtual exhibitions, including photographers, painters, sculptors, street artists, muralists, mixed media artists, visual, multi- and interdisciplinary artists, illustrators, animators, 3D artists, NFT artists, cartoonists, technologists, short film makers, poets, art writers, composers, weavers, dancers and creative performers.
