MOBLAND, the Mafia Metaverse, has just unveiled revenue generating business licenses, which they have dubbed ‘NFT 3.0’. And the first instance of NFT 3.0 is Digital WEED Farms.

Players can use the farms to grow in-game items and earn rewards, so with WEED, players grow Weed in-game. The WEED farms, grown on MOBLAND Turf, would be dynamic and upgradeable.

What is Digital WEED in MOBLAND?

Very much as the name suggests, players can grow Weed or generate it in several ways. However, the two primary methods are:

  • Develop and maintain the farms and collect the weeds in the game
  • Rent out Farms to other players and get a share of the total Weed produced

The weed in the game has multiple uses – upgrade farms, tweak characters, repair farms, heal characters and much more.

How do the farms and weeds work?

Players would plant Weed on the Farms, but the Farm’s characteristics would affect its production, consumption, earning potential, and more.

Mainly, the farms have four attributes: primary, statistics, appearance and consumption.

Main Includes the type, rarity and level of the farm
Statistics Depends on the farm’s production, storage and consumption
Look What the farm looks like
Consumption The amount of Weed needed to repair or upgrade the Farm

Of these four, Primary and Statistics have more to do with numbers, i.e. production and yield. Here is a brief description of the two properties:

1. Primary attributes

  • Rarity: A Farm’s rarity cannot be upgraded. A rarer farm will have a larger size and more greenhouses. The rarities are – Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary.
  • Type: Depends on the product to be grown on the farm. Currently all farms are Digital Weed Farm.
  • Level: A higher level farm will have better qualities and functions. A farm can be upgraded to level 10.

2. Statistics attributes

“Statistics will play a crucial role in establishing your empire in MOBLAND as they include: Number of Greenhouses, Growth Duration, SEED Consumption, WEED Production, Storage, Claim Level, Defender Attribute Bonus, HP (NYSE:), Status,” reads the official the post. Here is an overview of each attribute:

Growth duration The time it took for Weed in the game grows
SEED consumption Amount of SEEDS needed to grow weeds
Weed production Number of Weed that can be produced per greenhouse
Max storage Max Weed that can be stored in the Farm
Demand level The save level you can claim Weed at
Defender Attribute Bonus Increases the attack and defense abilities of the characters on the farm
HP Indicates how much damage the farm can withstand
Status Can be “active” or “wrecked”

Several of the above traits are dependent on rarity and farm level.

On the other side

  • The whole NFT 3.0 and Digital Farms concept will work if it has a sustainable economy and the product finds applications.
