MetaFight is the first MMA game to offer real fighters in the form of collectibles. Therefore, this allows players to gather real MMA fighters, build teams and challenge other players and guide fighters to triumph. You can even run your own gym! Furthermore, MetaFights Alpha was recently launched and saw more than 35,000 games played in the first two hours. The game will be available in browsers on mobile and computer.
MMA institutions are heavily involved in MetaFight. Partnerships include leading MMA training centers such as MMA Factory – France’s largest MMA training studio. Also, MetaFight offers a compensation model to athletes who join the platform. Through this model, the athletes receive a share of the income from the sale of their digital collector’s cards. As such, rookie fighters who traditionally earn low incomes can receive funding through MetaFight.
Speaking about his involvement with MetaFight, Cyril Gane said: “I have always followed closely the new technologies related to sports, and the MetaFight model particularly caught my attention when I understood that their remuneration model could help young athletes to go further in their sports passion. I am thrilled to join the MetaFight board and be a part of its growth.”
