MetaX, a metaverse and web3 developer, announced on Tuesday the launch of its inaugural NFT marketplace that will accommodate gaming-related NFT projects based on metaverse and blockchain.

“We are excited to see the market come to life as we had envisioned it, because gaming runs through Japanese blood, we have dedicated part of our capital to develop and expand the blockchain gaming sector and startups,” said Jun Kawasaki, founder and CEO, MetaX.

In a tweet to users, the company shared the three metaverse and GameFi projects that will be on the marketplace. NFT Worlds, Axie Infinity and Joyride Games have been identified as the first offerings for the MetaX NFT marketplace.

The Kawasaki-led company has adopted Binance Cloud, a premium solution that helps you launch your crypto exchanges, to tackle the problems of instability and mistrust among cryptocurrency users. The technology allows users to make exchanges with 100 percent security.

MetaX’s marketplace is based on solid future projections of NFTs and blockchain technology, which predicts a huge potential for GameFi, an amalgamation of gaming and finance using blockchain technology and NFTs. The GameFi industry, as of June 2022, lists around 1,551 projects under its belt and ranges from basic lottery-style games to MMOPRGs, massively multiplayer online role-playing video games. The marketplace will have a free financial listing system with a fee of 2.5 percent on sales, 1.25 percent through referral and 5-10 percent royalty. The strategies are laid to attract global NFT projects to reach the Japanese audience and get exclusive insights and participate in events with MetaX.

With this, MetaX enters the league of a few exchanges that specialize in metaverse and GameFi. The developer aims to be a leader in the three segments metaverse, NFT and GameFi.
