Mambu collaborates with Visa for card processing capability
Mambu, a world leader in SaaS cloud banking platforms, has entered into a partnership with Visa so that they can offer card processing services for their SaaS platform.
Launched in 2011, Mambu is currently accelerating the design and development of almost all types of financial services for banks of all sizes. It also caters to fintechs, lenders, telecommunications companies and resellers.
The move will see that the Berlin-based banking solutions fintech use Visa DPS. The agreement is a global collaboration, and will facilitate Mambus customers’ frictionless connection to Visa DPS for end-to-end card issuance and processing.
The collaboration with Visa DPS expands Mambus’ marketplace for product partnerships. With payment services as a critical part of the financial institutions’ offerings, the integration will contribute to increasing access and business opportunities across all regions.
According to reports, both companies are in line to improve interconnection to meet the growing demand for fintech with existing financial institutions. Mambu is developing an integration with Visa DPS that will give institutions more flexibility in offering new card products and services to their customers.
Demand for card service processing
At present, Mambus’ compatible approach means that independent components, systems and links can be assembled in any configuration to meet business needs and end-user requirements. The company’s 900 employees support 230 customers in over 65 countries.
When we talked about the new card processing collaboration with Visa, Kevin Trilli, Chief Product Officer at Mambu, explained “Customers’ demand for card services is growing rapidly, whether it is established financial institutions or fintechs. Strategic partnerships and interoperability between service providers provide the best value, choice and flexibility for customers, whether they are embarking on a digital transformation or scaling a new card program. This is an important step in bringing more simple, transparent and connected services to any company offering financial services.
He continued: “We create an opportunity for our customers to transform, scale and achieve operational excellence with this integration. Institutions can create their unique customer payment card experiences at Mambu, regardless of whether it is a deposit or loan account and get it out on the market quickly. They can then leverage Visa DPS’s issuer processing capabilities to distribute new products and solutions to their customers. This partnership will enable our customers to create powerful, digital first payment solutions and experiences. “
Todd Brockman, SVP, Global Head of Issuing Solutions, at Visa added: “Today’s banking and payments landscape requires agility and an architecture that can easily adapt to the rapid pace of innovation in our industry. We are excited to bring our modern API-based processing capabilities to Mambus’ growing marketplace of composable payment solutions and believe our collaboration will create tremendous value for our customers and their cardholders. “
