LUXON Teams Up With Chainlink To Revolutionize NFT Minting in DESPERADO B218
The world of decentralized gaming is about to witness a transformation as LUXON, the innovative Web3 gaming platform, partners with Chainlink, the leading decentralized oracle network.
Their partnership aims to revolutionize the minting of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) within the highly anticipated SEASON-0 net mission of DESPERADO B218.
By integrating Chainlink’s Verifiable Random Function (VRF) on the Polygon network, LUXON introduces a new era of transparency and excitement, offering users verifiable proof of the demonstrable randomness behind NFT issuance.
Unveiling the next level of gaming experience
DESPERADO B218, an immersive decentralized turn-based combat game inspired by the Exos Heroes IP, allows players to claim ownership of in-game assets, including agents and other game items.
By embracing Web3 principles, LUXON’s DAO allows users to actively participate in decision-making, such as buffing or rebalancing agents’ abilities, and fosters an autonomous ecosystem where collective choices shape gameplay.
With the integration of Chainlink’s VRF, LUXON embarks on a path of user-centric innovation, laying the foundation for a new gaming experience powered by cryptographic verifiability and transparency.
Improvement of the minting process
The search for safe and tamper-proof generation of random numbers within smart contracts led LUXON to use Chainlink VRF. Unlike traditional solutions, Chainlink VRF stands out for its reliance on cutting-edge academic research and the rock-solid infrastructure of the Chainlink oracle network.
The system leverages on-chain cryptographic proofs, generated with the oracle node’s pre-seeded private key and unknown block data at the time of the request, to produce both random numbers and verifiable proofs.
Chainlink VRF’s robust mechanism prevents any manipulation or tampering, ensuring the integrity of the random number generation process. The LUXON smart contract accepts only random numbers accompanied by valid cryptographic evidence, guaranteeing that the randomness governing NFT mining remains untainted by external entities, or even the LUXON team itself.
Users can now have full confidence that the minting process is fair and provable, thanks to the automated and verifiable assurances provided directly on the blockchain.
Alan Huh, CEO of nerdystar and a driving force behind LUXON’s vision, expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration:
“We’re excited to use Chainlink VRF to help improve the transparency of our NFT minting mechanism. As the industry standard for verifiable randomness, it’s a must for high-integrity projects and critical to maintaining the Web3 ethos behind our game.”
