Lightningcon Vietnam, organized by Neutronpay and BitcoinVN is Asia’s first Bitcoin & Lightning Conference

Da Nang, Vietnam: The beautiful city of Da Nang, Vietnam, which some have dubbed “Bitcoin Beach Vietnam” will host Asia’s first bitcoin and lightning network conference in the region. Neutronpay, BitcoinVN, and Nunchuk, all of which are Vietnam-based bitcoin-only companies, are excited to share what’s happening in Asia in terms of bitcoin projects, bitcoin communities, and lightning adoption across the region. The conference will take place 22 to 24 March 2023 at the beautiful Furama Resort by the beach.
Neutronpay founder and CEO Albert Buu, who is Vietnamese-Canadian, had this to say: “I am excited to announce that our company is leading the charge for the Bitcoin Lightning Network in Southeast Asia. Our vision is to showcase the region’s growth and potential, and Lightningcon is the first event of its kind to highlight emerging markets in Asia that have been overlooked in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Our mission is to create a platform that encourages and supports the growth of Bitcoin and Lightning in the region, while emphasizing the diversity of representation to showcase the potential of the entire region. We are confident that this event will not only inspire growth and innovation in the industry, but also positively impact the lives of people in the region.
We are excited to bring together prominent Bitcoiners from various countries in South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia and Vietnam, who will share their insights and experiences to reinforce the message that Asia is making waves in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Malcolm Weed, COO of Neutronpay, which is the lead organizer of the event, had this to say: “We are extremely excited to host the world’s first bitcoin and lightning event in Asia. The event kicks off with a beach meet & greet on the evening of March 22, followed by two days of speakers sharing the latest developments across the bitcoin ecosystem, touching on both the technological and financial aspects. There will also be a strong representation of companies that build on the lightning network and will share the current state and what exciting things are currently being worked on. As is the case with most events, there will be big new announcements, so stay tuned for live tweeting from the event as they happen.
There will only be 500 participants, so tickets are limited. General 2-day passes are currently $375, and ticket prices will rise again on March 1. The ideal event can be accessed by local Vietnamese at a preferential price of $35, and we encourage as many locals to come and learn more about the technology, but also meet local Vietnamese companies that build on bitcoin and lightning.
