The list of charities that received the proceeds was published in the tweet that broke the news. It included several children’s hospitals in advance of research for child health and involved in providing treatments to the less privileged.

Fans showed their gratitude to the star
Following the donation announcement, some of the recipients took to Twitter to thank the actor for his generous action.
“Thank you so much @JohnnyDeppNFT for your generosity in helping [Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation] and WA sick children, “the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation tweeted.” These funds will have a significant impact on helping to keep [Perth Children’s Hospital] world-class for our children and families. ”
Fans also praised the actress for fulfilling the promise and took the opportunity to make stingy comments about her ex-wife for allegedly not following up on her promise to donate part of her divorce proceeds to The Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
“And this, ladies and gentlemen, is philanthropy. And the difference between an unfulfilled promise and a direct donation, “wrote one fan.
“I do not wonder if the pledge or donation is synonymous or not here. Every time I think I could not be prouder of that man, he proves me wrong. AMAZING,” another Depp loyalist wrote on Twitter.

Thompson, Heath Ledger, daughter Lily-Rose Depp, Tim Burton, Depp’s deceased dog Mooh, and a cartoon character, Bunnyman, created by his son are among those featured in the portraits.
Som pr Page six“Depp’s style is a mixture of pop and street art, with images of pop culture figures rendered in vibrant colors.” All the NFTs were based on the actor’s original artwork, which was then digitally enhanced to its virtual format.
Those who bought “Never Fear Truth” NFT became members of Depp’s Discord group, so that fans could work on art projects together. Each purchase also included a high-resolution physical copy, which can only be claimed at one time.
Johnny Depp’s lawsuit against Amber Heard
Prior to the donations, Depp was embroiled in a lengthy defamation lawsuit against Heard, in which the actor sought redress after his ex-wife wrote an article that allegedly tarnished his reputation.
Throughout the case, the actor and his ex-Heard were both subjected to various humiliating circumstances, including jurors who saw pictures of Depp hangover from drinking and intoxication episodes. Also to hear about his and Heard’s regular confrontations during the marriage.
As reported by The Blast, The jury finally decided that Heard should pay Depp $ 10.35 million in damages. She was also awarded $ 2 million in compensation for one of her defamation claims against the actress. With the lawsuit behind him, the actor aims to relaunch his acting career and will return to the big screen as King Louis XV in Netflix’s French historical film “Jeanne Du Barry”.
