Actor Johnny Depp recently donated the proceeds from an NFT (non-fungible token) sale to a charity linked to his ex-wife Amber Heard.
According to a social media post, Mr Depp’s Never Fear Truth NFT had raised nearly $ 80,000 in total donations, which were shared between four organizations – Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, The Footprint Coalition and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
Of these four, the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital has ties to Mrs. Heard.

The Aquaman The star had said that her $ 7 million divorce settlement in 2016 would be shared between two charities – the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). However, during the recent defamation trial, it was revealed that Heard had failed to do so.

Of course, after the announcement of Mr Depp’s NFT sale, fans praised Pirate of the Caribbean actor for his “infinite goodness”.
One user wrote: “JD always fulfills his obligations, his honesty is admirable, I love him.” Another said: “And this, ladies and gentlemen, is philanthropy. And the difference between an unfulfilled promise and a direct donation. PS promises usually have a schedule for fulfillment. And a signed mortgage vehicle. I’m sure these organizations are very grateful. “
A third added: “This is what an honest person does, he thinks of others and not just himself. He has a heart of gold, ”while a fourth commented:“ It’s amazing! Donate not pledged. “

Meanwhile, after losing the defamation case against Depp, Heard’s lawyers asked a Fairfax County Circuit Court judge to set aside her sentence or order a new trial. Earlier this month, it was reported that Heard’s defense team claimed that the $ 10 million price lacked sufficient justification. They even disputed Depp’s claim that Heard’s comments in an op-ed led to him losing his role in “Pirates of the Caribbean”. Furthermore, they claimed that at least one jury member had not undergone the necessary screening of legal personnel.
However, as per Rettshuset Nyheterin an email, Mr. Depp’s attorney rejected Ben Chew Heard’s proposal as “what we expected, only longer, no more material”.
