IDC Fintech Rankings 2022: The Most Valuable and Most Effective Fintech Companies

Market intelligence firm IDC has published the 2022 IDC Fintech Rankings, a list of technology providers based on calendar year revenue from financial institutions for hardware, software and/or services.

The featured vendors provide the technological backbone of the financial services industry, an industry where IDC estimates worldwide spending on information technology solutions to reach $590 billion by 2025.

The rankings have two main lists: the IDC Fintech Rankings Top 100, which names the top 100 vendors that roughly derive more than a third of their revenue from the financial services and fintech industries; and the IDC Fintech Rankings Enterprise Top 25, which ranks the most successful enterprise companies that serve multiple industries but derive roughly a third or less of their revenue from the financial services and fintech industries.

Top 100 fintech companies

At the top of this year’s IDC Fintech Top 100 ranking are three US financial services software companies: FIS, Fiserv and SS&C Technologies.
