The NFTs come in packs starting at $9.99 and are available on Tuesday, September 6 via the Droppp.io platform with a Droppp account and credit card.
The latest series in the ever-growing Funko NFT ecosystem gives fans a chance to own exclusive DC Comics NFTs in the form of digital collectibles. Funko and Warner Bros. Consumer Products have teamed up to bring these characters to life in the web3 world.
This is the second DC Digital Pop! series and will focus on some of the most beloved superheroes and supervillains in the DC Universe. Some of the NFTs you have a chance to own include Batman, Superman, Green Lantern and others!
It’s the biggest Funko NFT release to date and offers a chance to own more than just a piece of DC memorabilia. The Funko ecosystem has only just begun, and in the future some of these NFTs may be valuable in the same way that rare physical Funko bobbleheads are.
There are two different packs available in the new Funko DC Digital Pop! The NFT series. Firstly, the Standard Package, which contains 5 Digital Pop! NFTs cost $9.99. Second, the Premium Pack, which includes 15 Digital Pop! NFTs cost $29.99.
There are 50,000 packages with both the standard package and the premium package. This means that there are a staggering 1 million NFTs in total!
Another exciting element of the Funko DC NFT line is the chance to own a free limited edition physical vinyl collectible. In fact, each pack gives fans an opportunity to reveal a rare NFT, which can be redeemed for one of six characters.
Redeemable collectibles include Parallax Hal Jordan, Batman (Justice Armor), Superman (Earth-23), Connor Hawke, Batman Azrael and Freddy Funko as The Riddler.
Funko is a hugely popular global pop culture brand! The company is best known for its licensed vinyl figures and bobbleheads depicting pop culture characters. In addition, the company also produces licensed plush, action figures, clothing, accessories and even games.
Last year, Funko entered the NFT space. Since then, it has released collections regularly, including the upcoming Funko DC NFT collection. Some of the most notable drops include a Star Trek collection, Avatar Legends NFTs, Power Rangers and Nickelodeon NFTs.
Oddly enough, Funko has had great success working with Warner Brothers. So far they have launched Hanna Barbera, My Little Pony, Kellogs, Transformers and DC Comics NFT.
