FTI Consulting Increases Middle East Blockchain and Digital Assets Practice with Appointment of Managing Director
Dubai, December 15, 2022 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced that the firm’s technology segment has appointed Jorge Carrasco as managing director in Dubai, an appointment that supports continued global expansion of the firm’s blockchain and digital assets practice.
Mr. Carrasco brings more than 15 years of experience in new technologies and solution development to FTI Consulting’s clients in the Middle East. As a blockchain and Web3 expert, Mr. Carrasco advises clients across a variety of industries in the development of enterprise blockchain strategies and technical implementations. He has a deep understanding of the goals, challenges and technical nuances facing businesses and public entities as they approach advanced technology implementation, and helps translate them into innovative solutions that leverage the unique capabilities of blockchain technology and smart contracts.
With a strong technical background and previous work with a wide range of technologies and industries, Mr. Carrasco’s in-depth expertise provides clients with innovative and actionable insight and guidance for complex issues.

Mr. Carrasco has played a key role in some of the leading enterprise blockchain projects in the Middle East. Before joining FTI Technology, Carrasco was Director of Emerging Technologies at e&, formerly Etisalat, where he designed and implemented innovative solutions in fields such as blockchain, robotics, 5G, digital twins and metaverse for corporate clients in the private and public sectors. He has also held senior roles in Fon, Telefonica and Ericsson.
