EXIT Festival begins partnership with NFT-TiX
Globally acclaimed celebration of all things music, EXIT Festivalhas entered into a ground-breaking partnership with Web3 ticket company, NFT-TiX. Through a multi-year collaboration, NFT-TiX will offer ticketing services for the event, starting with the upcoming EXIT festival, which will take place from 6-9. July at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia.
According to EXIT, merging with NFT-TiX made sense given the many problems plaguing the ticketing industry today. Some common problems include the existence of counterfeit tickets and black markets that overcharge buyers. Now, thanks to the ticketing platform, attendees can rely on accessing their tickets in a secure, transparent and convenient way. The tickets come in the form of NFTs, with their information backed up on the blockchain, making them easier to authenticate and transact.
Both partners envision these tickets as the future of the festival industry, with the potential to make a profound contribution to expanding the music NFT community. Apart from providing an immutable digital asset that guarantees entry, the NFTs will also give holders exclusive access to a wide range of future gated content.
Ultra VIP humanitarian NFT tickets at EXIT
In addition to standard NFT entry passes, the partnership will introduce ten exclusive “ultra-VIP humanitarian NFT tickets” at €10,000 each. These rare tokens offer event-goers a truly one-of-a-kind festival experience, complete with a personal host, meet-and-greet opportunities with various artists and performers, and access to the coveted VIP GOLD zones located on the festival’s main stage and dance floor.
Furthermore, holders will also get on-stage access to the exclusive dance arena, a chance to enter the infinite dance arena and the VIP Diamond area. In addition, they will also be accommodated at the luxurious Leopold Hotel, with transport from the airport to the hotel and festival grounds included. Overall, these ultra-VIP Humanitarian NFT tickets offer a one-of-a-kind festival experience that is truly unforgettable.
EXIT continues to expand its Web3 horizons
The latest development is the result of a long-term collaboration with the NFT-TiX platform. Last July, EXIT made headlines as the first major music event to use blockchain technology to sell NFT tickets at one of its festivals. As a result of this pioneering move, the company was awarded the UK Festival Innovation Award, and was also nominated for the recently held Disruptor Award at the Ticketing Business Awards.
Not content with just pioneering NFT ticket sales, the company also launched three of its own NFT compilations in collaboration with renowned names from the music industry. The first of these compilations, called SHADEs, was created with the help of electronic music superstar, Maceo Plex. Secondly, ‘The WINGS Collection’ was designed in collaboration with human rights activist Christina Carmela. Rounding off the list, the HEADPHONES collection took a pivot into the world of advanced digital art.
