(NYSE: EVRI ) (“Everi” or the “Company”), a premier provider of land-based and digital casino gaming content and products, financial technology and player loyalty solutions, announced today that the company has completed a Systems and Organizational Control (“SOC”) 2 Type 1 audit examination to maintain effective controls over the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and data privacy of its FinTech, Loyalty and Digital iGaming – platforms.
SOC 2 is an auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), designed to meet the needs of existing or prospective clients who need assurance about the effectiveness of the controls used by hospitality clients to process client information. SOC 2 defines criteria for managing customer data based on five trust principles: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy. The SOC 2 certification demonstrates Everi’s ability to implement critical security policies, prove compliance over an extended period of time, and apply an additional layer of security to customer data that comes from the company’s delivery of real-money online gaming content to operators.
