ETH climbs to over $ 1,200 to start weekend – Market Updates Bitcoin News

ETH moved into the $ 1200 region to start the weekend, as prices rose for a third consecutive session. Bullish sentiment has been lacking from the crypto markets in recent months, but the timely return also saw BTC close to its highest point this week.

Bitcoin

Bitcoin entered the weekend trade in the green, when the bulls extended their last run for a third session in a row.

After a low of $ 20,794.19 during Friday’s session, BTC / USD rose to an intraday high of $ 21,520.91 on Saturday.

Today’s move was the highest point prices have reached since Tuesday, when bitcoin was traded for $ 21,732.

This seems to be the next goal for bulls, who must overcome this obstacle to reach their next destination of $ 22,000.

When you look at the chart, there is another hurdle they must overcome first, and that is the ceiling of 36.45 on the RSI.

Should we see that this point is broken, we can see a bullish momentum also increase, which leads the prices to their respective targets.

Ethereum

After some turbulence in the middle of the week, ETH weekend trading started higher, when the bullish sentiment returned.

Prices for the world’s second largest crypto token peaked at $ 1,238.62 on Saturday, after hitting $ 1,146.52 yesterday.

As discussed yesterday, when the $ 1,190 resistance was broken, the bulls came in again with considerable pressure.

At the time of writing, ETH is at its highest point in nine days, up almost 10% in the last seven days of trading.

Like BTC, ethereum has also just met a resistance via the 14-day RSI, and until this is broken, we can see a small drop in upward momentum.
