Easy EP collaborates with Carta Worldwide to boost Southern European FinTech

Simple payment and finance, Simple EP, CartaEasy Payment & Finance (Easy EP), a financial payment and technology enabler in Spain, announced that it has selected proven global digital payment company Carta Worldwide, a subsidiary of Mogo Inc., to support its new card offering.

Easy EP is among Spain’s leading providers of banking and payment infrastructure. It enables a wide range of financial services for corporate and private customers, including real-time SEPA money transfers, global cross-border payments and IBAN bank account management.

Under the new partnership, Carta Worldwide will provide issuer processing services connecting Easy EP to Visa’s payment network. The partnership will enable Easy EP to offer white label prepaid card products to customers across Europe. The product will give customers more choices when it comes to integrating virtual and physical card products into their embedded financial ecosystems.

Easy EP, one of the first non-banking institutions to offer banking services in Spain. Easy EP’s new card products follow its recent authorization as a principal member of Visa – among the first Spanish non-banking institutions to gain direct membership. Now, by leveraging Carta Worldwide’s industry-leading API and expertise, Easy EP is pulling away from the competition and giving customers better access to global financial services.
