Daylight for your NFT wallet π
Metaversal is one Bankless newsletter for weekly levels on NFTs, virtual worlds and collectibles
Dear Bankless Nation,
Let’s say you’re in a few DAOs and you have some DeFi tokens and NFTs.
These positions can entitle you to all sorts of things, such as accessing token-gated chats, claiming airdrops, minting new NFTs, participating in governance votes, and more.
The problem? Fragmentation. Previously to act on these kinds of cool opportunities you had to manually track the news around everyone your projects, making it easy to get overwhelmed and miss things across multiple streams of information.
Fortunately, there’s a new project that can act as an automated one-stop hub for tracking what your wallet might be doing at any given time, and that project is Daylight.
For today’s post, let’s take a quick tour of the platform, which is currently in beta but will soon be open to everyone!

Daylight is an Ethereum-based crypto wallet discovery service.
You connect your wallet to the platform, at which point it aggregates all of your current holdings and all of the web3 opportunities available to you based on those holdings.
Dagslys calls these web3 possibilities Skills. Since the platform is brand new and in a closed beta right now, only wallets that have a lot of available capabilities are approved out of the gate.
If your main wallet doesn’t make the cut at the moment, no worries. You can enter your email address to be notified when you are approved or when the platform officially opens to everyone.
If your main wallet do have enough ability to immediately get on the approval list, you will be asked to create a Dawn Pass NFT, which will be soul bound to your address and allow you to log in and use the Daylight Platform.
Once inside, you can go to your Profile to see the list of abilities that are now open to you and you can use yours Settings to find out if you’d like daily or weekly emails about new capabilities as they come in.
When it comes to actually acting on opportunities, you go to the Capabilities hub in the Daylight dashboard where you can filter through, review and then click on activities that are of interest to you. To give you an idea of ββwhat is possible, some examples of the abilities that were personally open to me at the time of writing this post include:
-
Requires a lilnounsdao.eth ENS subdomain
-
Claims a wanders.eth ENS subdomain
-

Before, I had to manually keep track of all the different web3 capabilities myself, which is tedious when it comes to monitoring well beyond a dozen projects. Now with daylight, however, you can simply browse Your abilities feed and get all your wallet’s DAO, DeFi and NFT pressing action items served up in one convenient place.
This is the kind of service I’ve seen a lot of crypto users asking for over the past couple of years, so it’s cool to see daylight starting to shine here. Navigating what you can do with your wallet has been a pain for newcomers and veterans alike in the past, but Daylight streamlines this process for everyone.
Therefore, I have high hopes that this type of service will make it easier for people of all kinds, and especially NFT users, to take better control of their web3 journeys. Going forward, keep an eye on Daylight as it evolves and adds even more abilities for you to trade before opening the beta to everyone.

So of course we put together a brand new, updated airdrop guide for our Bankless Premium members. π
