In addition, the NFT business is getting huge highlights from Melania Trump’s Christmas decorations and Apple’s pending new commission for tokens sold via the iOS app.

China is also the world leader in blockchain archiving

China is a well-known global superpower as it is the center of many developments and production for various technology companies and is also the source of various technologies commonly found in the world now. However, what people didn’t realize is its massive hold in the blockchain industry, where it holds 84 percent of the world’s blockchain registrations.

This information was unveiled by a government official who claimed that the huge number came from China, and the South China Morning Post detailed this from the official’s claims.

Even so, only 19 percent of the registrations from the country receive approval from the government to become full-fledged blockchains, but not all thrive in the market as well.

Apple’s 30 percent commission on NFTs

Apple is already facing many antitrust lawsuits from various agencies and countries, but here it is, working again to impose another high commission rate on all NFTs sold via iOS apps. That means the company will get a massive piece of every transaction for the non-fungible token industry, and it’s a significant one in the present.

According to The Information, Apple wants to treat NFT transactions made on its iOS apps as “in-app purchases,” and the same treatment and fee is something marketplaces and customers will soon face.

More importantly, it will take a large portion of the revenue from the platform as well as the artist.

Melania’s Christmas NFTs: Too early?

Well, nothing is too early and too late, especially in the world we live in today where almost anything is possible, and so is feeling the Christmas spirit with Melania Trump’s NFT ornaments. The former first lady of the United States is already in the nativity season as she showcased her recent products that present the Christmas spirit through tokens.

In the Philippines, the Christmas season begins with the so-called “ber” months, which start as early as September in the Southeast Asian country. It seems like this is the same early Christmas spirit seen from Melania Trump, especially as she breaks free from a previous holiday meltdown and is now spreading cheer and good news with the NFT collection.
