Many traders in the crypto space are waiting for the next altcoin season. This expectation was further reinforced by the recent price movements of the crypto market leader (BTC), which saw prices climb above the $21,000 level. At press time, BTC’s price has retreated slightly by 1.71% to now trade at $20,861.45.
Despite the entire crypto market cap falling 1.93% in the last 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap, it remains above $1 trillion. This is mainly due to the bullish price movements in recent weeks, with altcoin dominance overwhelming BTC dominance.
The growing altcoin dominance suggests an imminent bull run for altcoins, which will result in an altcoin season. A crypto trader shared his price predictions for some popular altcoins on Twitter yesterday morning.

According to the crypto trader, Michaël van de Poppe (@CryptoMichNL), Chainlink (LINK) will rise to $15, Fantom (FTM) will enter the range between $0.75 and $1, Zilliqa (ZIL) will climb to $0.10, ( BNB) will reach $500, and (ETH) will increase to $2500. He added to the tweet that these predictions are for the coming months.
CoinMarketCap shows that LINK is trading at $8.22, while FTM and ZIL are trading at $0.2692 and $0.03239 respectively. BNB’s price currently stands at $337.85 and ETH’s price is trading at $1,586.61. All of these altcoins have seen their prices fall in the last 24 hours.
