Crypto Gaming causes a blockchain storm at Gam3 prices
The Gam3 Awards were held on 8 December and paved the way for the first award ceremony of its kind. An evening to celebrate the best Web3 talent this year has to offer.
With a panel of 39 judges, the ceremony was a way to gain bragging rights in this developing economy. The best games you know and love were voted for by the panel and the players at home.
Cryptogaming has been on a significant rise this year as we’ve seen games move into uncharted territory with gameplay and graphics. Millions of “Unique Active Wallets” have been registered and billions of dollars in funding from both institutional and private investors have entered the space.
Let’s take a more in-depth look at how Gam3 game prices praised the blockchain’s gaming efforts this year.

Games were judged on accessibility, gameplay, replayability, graphics and gaming experience. All of these criteria have evolved quite drastically in the last 12 months. Accessing a Blockchain-related game has never been easier. Players can do so through a variety of platforms, integrating their best crypto wallets for games, mobile app stores and by registering on the games website.
Only in October to November did DappRadar alone record over 800,000 unique active wallets across a variety of different networks. This figure may grow into the New Year months of 2023.
General thoughts on the Gam3 Awards
Firstly Congratulations to everyone who made the list, winners of awards and who were part of the proceedings for the ceremony. Although it is clear that many of the titles deserved their titles. It must be noted that there are some irregularities for the winners.
While Star Atlas is a promising game after the release of their Beta on the Epic Games Store, they won an award despite not even having a full release yet. Also, the short game that has been presented to us so far cannot be compared to a game that has had several stages of the project released, such as Phantom Galaxies.
Furthermore, it may be more beneficial to have more say from the voters at home in the next allocations. Individuals on the panel represent companies that had games listed at prices, potentially showing some.
