Crypto exchange, Zonda, is expanding to Denmark in a bid to increase its user base across Europe
The largest crypto exchange in Eastern Europe, Zonda, announces its expansion to Denmark, allowing users to trade, buy and hold over 60+ crypto assets on the exchanges.
One of the largest cryptocurrency trading platforms in Eastern and Central Europe, Zonda announced its expansion to Denmark, as it continues its vision to conquer the continent. The expansion to Copenhagen aims to provide a closer, better and more efficient business location for the company’s developers, and open a new way to achieve the company’s vision and goals.
The newly opened facility, which was announced on Wednesday, demonstrates Zonda’s ambitions to become synonymous with crypto in Northern Europe, in an effort to increase crypto adoption across the continent, as it did in Eastern and Central Europe. The offices, located in central Copenhagen, will support developers working with Zonda’s CTO, Jakob Lundqvist, to build out Zonda’s technical and foundational capabilities.
“When I work as CTO, it is important to have the use of a dedicated office where I can collaborate closely with our talented team members, especially when so much work today is done remotely,” said Jakob Lundqvist. “Our modern, fully equipped office provides the perfect place to focus on advancing Zonda’s technological ambitions and developing the tools needed to compete on the world stage.”
Operating since the early days of crypto in 2014, the exchange offers one of the largest digital asset investment platforms in that part of the continent and has grown its user base to over 1 million traders. Furthermore, the exchange has a license with the Finance Intelligence Unit (FIU) and robust anti-money laundering procedures, which ensure traders’ trust and funds are fully secured and in compliance with the tough financial laws in Europe.
Traders on the platform can trade, buy and sell over 60+ crypto-asset pairs using fiat currencies (EUR, USD, GBP and PLN), stablecoins (USDT and USDC), BTC and ETH. In addition, Zonda has built a platform that offers users simple intuitive tools, educational programs and regulatory frameworks that will help them act and spend safely from a position of strength.
As one of the most well-regulated exchanges across Europe, both institutional and retail users can enjoy the highly technologically advanced features of the platform, facilitating their trading journey. Despite this, the platform offers customers a ZondaPay app to make payments using crypto and an educational program via the Zonda Academy. At the forefront of the new development is a focus on security and customer safety and a skilled technical team, which will operate from the newly opened Danish office, making it one of the best crypto exchanges in Europe.
Finally, the Danish office is the first step in Zonda’s expansion plans, with the exchange having recently moved into the Italian market and already having regulatory approval to operate in Bitcoin-friendly Canada. In the coming months, the exchange also plans to expand into the UK and Swiss markets, once they acquire the necessary licenses.
