Coin Bureau Names Catalysts for Huge Bull Run, Says Crypto May See Massive Interest Outside US

A widely followed crypto analyst identifies the potential catalysts for the next crypto bull run, saying demand for digital assets outside the US could increase.

In a new video update, Coin Bureau host Guy Turner tells his 130,000 subscribers that regulators “sorting themselves out” could serve as the next spark for an industry-wide expansion.

“Sure, if we saw some good regulations in the United States, if American politicians came to their senses, and the SEC [U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission] worked out, so yes, it could be a catalyst for a big bull run.”

Turner says he expects a bull market to start sometime next year, but notes that a potential lengthy legal battle between the SEC and Coinbase in court doesn’t necessarily mean good regulations are on the horizon.

Earlier this month, the SEC issued a Wells notice, or memo informing Coinbase that it may face enforcement action from the regulator.

“When you have capital that is allocated to Bitcoin [and] Ethereum, [altcoins] tends to lose, so I think that’s why we don’t see big pumps for alts at the moment and I honestly don’t think we will until like I said the bull market comes back probably next year….

There is a danger that Coinbase and the SEC could face the court for a long time. However, I don’t necessarily think it would be a sudden flurry of decent rules and an end to a possible Coinbase color. Remember, if Ripple is anything to go by, a Coinbase suit could last for years, so these are the things to consider.

I also think we could see a bull run anyway, if none of those things happen, even if we don’t get regulatory clarity in the US.”

Guy says overseas interest in crypto assets is growing, particularly in Asia, as Hong Kong is set to legalize crypto trading in the coming months.

“There are a lot of people at the moment who think that the next bull run is going to come from Asia in particular, and remember that Hong Kong is legalizing crypto trading this summer in just a couple of months, so I think we’re probably going to see a lot of renewed interest in crypto from Asia and elsewhere.”
