CLUB 3 launches advanced Web3 Community Hub
In the years since its inception, the world of Web3 has existed mainly through interactions within the digital domain. A place where it has served the industry behind a million computer screens and built an epic community of forward-thinking innovators. Now, however, these champions of the digital space will receive their very own high-end physical destination where they can network, share ideas and generally engage in casual frivolity. Say hello to CLUB 3, the new venue set to change the shape of Web3 and provide a place for its advocates to relax.
The first such destination is earmarked for a 2023 launch on LA’s Sunset Boulevard and will feature a 10,000 square foot (930 square meter) facility loaded with hospitality features such as a dining area, bars, a cocktail lounge, a rooftop restaurant and karaoke room. The extravagant club will also host industry events, community gatherings, lectures, seminars, Q&A sessions and other in-person and virtual experiences. In addition, CLUB 3 will also run on a Web3 ethos, and will therefore allow community voting in the way it is run.
CLUB 3 is the brainchild of Meta Hollywood, a joint venture between Animoca brands and Planet Hollywood. Once the LA space becomes operational, the club will add more global locations in places like New York, Miami, London, Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
How to get in on the action
To become part of CLUB 3, individuals must purchase an NFT membership in a coin coming this Summer. At that point, NFTs will become available in four categories: basic, social, global and corporate. Each category offers unique benefits and comes with a different price tag. For example, a social membership costs about $3,000 or 1.57 ETH, while a basic membership costs about $10,000 or 5.14 ETH. If an interested party wishes to purchase a corporate membership, they must work with the club’s concierge service. Additionally, there is a global upgrade that can be purchased separately from the other memberships, which costs $2000 or 1.05 ETH. All memberships are NFTs that can be made and interested persons should keep this in mind while considering their options.
Commenting on the objectives of CLUB 3, Yat Siu, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Animoca Brands notes, “CLUB 3 will promote and encourage the wider Web3 community and serve as a starting point for those looking to learn more about this new world.”
He adds further “Members will interact within the club’s many facility amenities and experience what Meta Hollywood has to offer. With this project, communities across the Animoca Brands ecosystem will have access to new opportunities.”
