Stardust NFT project artist Coco was criticized for allegedly stealing other people’s artwork. Consequently, the founder used professional photographs and photos of public people to create his own collectibles.

On June 29, the Twitter account @NFTtheft put the spotlight on Coco – the founder behind Stardust’s new NFT project. The group mainly accused the Coco of stealing other people’s work. Apparently the artist had used images that belonged to models, photographers, stylists and more,
In the same chirping, NFT Theft also included several examples of Coco’s references. Examples include entrepreneur Rashmi Bhanja and model Millie Hannah among others.
«Reference is a valuable tool for many artists. But surfing the web for pictures and tracking them without permission is not the same as a reference. “ wrote NFT Theft. “It’s taking other people’s work and calling it your own. These photographers and models should be paid for their work. “
How did the NFT community react?
First, the discovery spread like wildfire in dry grass. Someone defended Coco and wrote that her action was “completely legitimate”. Meanwhile, others have accused the artist of not mentioning her NFT references.
