Why is randomness important to games?
Randomness is important to games because items you earn by playing games are worth real money. Fortnite and CS:GO skins already sell for thousands of dollars, for example. In September 2021, a CS:GO player turned down an offer of $1.5 million for a rare variant of the Karambit Case Hardened Knife, saying the offer was too low to accept.
It’s not a huge leap to assume that this trend will continue in Web3, and collectors will continue to pay big premiums for rare items in the game. Through NFT technology, players will be able to own their hard-earned weapons and skins themselves for the first time. This ability will unlock huge earning potential for players
Because digital assets earned in blockchain games will have huge monetary values, it is crucial that players know for sure that games are fair.

How will Chainlink help Web3 games be fair?
The Made For Gamers web3 platform uses the Chainlink Verifiable Random Function. As a result, players can verify the fairness of game results and reward distributions.
