Cardano NFT: Crypto Kidz Club
This week’s guest on Cardano NFT column is a event-based project focused on puzzles, cryptography and internet searching: Crypto Kidz Club.
Last week’s guest was a project build a Play To Earn ecosystem that draws inspiration from the famous Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Digimon.
This initiative is a reference point for NFTs on Cardano and every week or so we will invite someone to answer some questions and give us an update directly from the Cardano community.
Considering that many of our readers are new to the crypto space, we want one mix of simple and technical questions.
Cardano NFT Project: Crypto Kidz Club
Hi, glad to have you here. Introduce your team, where are you from, what is your background?
Hi Patryk, thank you for inviting us on!
My name is Dice And I am Project Manager. I come from one operational and financial background and currently working with a finance team from NYC.
Ours leader in society is Badger (he also works with Disco Solaris). Fresh out of university, Badger is working hard to make a name for himself in the CNFT community. His eclectic mix of specialties includes brewing, fiction writing and charm.
Blink is ours artist and enjoying themselves works in the NFT area.
3ntr0py is ours “Puzzle master“. In his words, he is one “dirty hippie, caffeine fiend, code junkie, daydreamer and a master of nothing but his creative endeavours.“
What is Crypto Kidz Club, how do you use NFTs and why have you chosen Cardano?
CKC is an event-based project with a focus on puzzles, cryptography and internet searching. We are going to release a standard NFT pfp release but we have some other surprises coming up integrate NFT technology in various ways.
We’ll never say we’re “the first” to do X or Y with NFTs, but there are a few things we have up our sleeves that we think will be A LOT of fun for the community.
The whole reason we started this project was because we wanted to build something entertaining for the community. In everything we do and in every aspect of the project we are works hard to incorporate some level of intrigue and discovery that will drive the “fun” element.
We have been in a bear market for a while now. What is the experience of building in such a period? Can you share something about your strategy?
Personally, I have loved build during the bear market. Those who are still here are truly die hard fans of NFTs and what they can become. We are happy to launch during a bear market also because if we can prove our strength in this market, we will be sure to thrive in any environment.
Our strategy has been to do one slow combustion. It means that we attract those who are attracted to us core premise around puzzles. As of now our Discord is actually private and there is no way for anyone to get in unless they “break in” by solving one of the puzzles. Those who break in are automatically given an OG role that will be favorable mail mint with some of the riddles. They may have a nice advantage for getting in early!
Once we feel comfortable with our core community of OGs, we start slowly open Discord to the public in creative ways. Early entrants will still be rewarded with a role, but they will not be considered OGs.
We have some others marketing pieces in place such as specific collaborations, announcements and surprises that we believe will increase interest in the project. However, we are careful about when and how we release these elements, as we don’t want to attract the wrong kind of people. We are very focused on build a real community that believes in the project FIRST.
What is your take on the many scams and carpet pools infecting the NFT world? How can recognized projects convince the most skeptical users?
This is an excellent question. Unfortunately, I feel that many “cheats” were never meant to be rug covers originally. It is simply the environment we are in with the bear market that some projects either do not sell out or the floor price is so low that people will lose interest in the project except for the handful who went “all in”. In those cases the developers feel backed into a corner and have no choice but to hand the project over to the community.
I think things are different for us. We’ve been building this artwork and these puzzles and this lore since March and while the NFT decline would certainly raise what we are able to achieve and will have an impact on the types of experiences we will be able to offer post-coin, it does not affect the team and the amount of effort and work we will put in after start-up.
Great! Any closing remarks? Where can people learn more?
Secure!
Thanks again for having us and giving us an opportunity to share our project.
By this time ours will be out website will be live and you can learn more about Crypto Kidz Club. As an example of some of the puzzles we run, we unlocked our website in a unique way – via a puzzle. GIR₳FFE was the first person to solve our puzzle (took him a total of 3 hours!) and he will be forever immortalized by having his name at the bottom of the site. The puzzle is still live and if you want to try it, start here.
You can always follow us on spring Twitter and our Discord will be open to the public soon!
